The integrated lean QINOUS Micro-grid and Energy Management System (MEMS) enables the smart control of the grid and the efficient integration of renewable and conventional energy generation assets. It communicates with all members  of the micro-grid – PV inverters, diesel generators and energy meters – to decide the best use of the battery at any given moment.

While connected to the grid, the MEMS can operate the battery to increase self-consumption, or it can take advantage of variable electricity prices. While off-grid, the MEMS can share the load between batteries and diesel generators or turn diesel generators off when they are not needed.

QINOUS MEMS guarantees safe and reliable operations of all assets in on-grid and off-grid applications. Its monitoring and control functions are accessible locally and remotely via the internet/GPRS. The user-friendly Human-Machine-Interface is designed for comfortable and quick access to even most detailed system parameter.
